Starting point
Labels were printed in the order that orders arrived. Pickers then crossed and retraced warehouse aisles to collect each batch.
What we built
The tool loads orders awaiting shipment from ShipStation. Staff choose a batch and the number of order bins, then generate PDF picking sheets. Items are grouped by warehouse location and sorted into picking order, with a column for each bin and an order summary to connect the picked items back to the customer.
What happened next
The client reports that pickers now walk about half as far to fill each batch.

The improvement works around the existing ShipStation order process, focusing on how batches and picking documents are prepared for warehouse staff.
