Starting point
The owner needed a reliable view of equipment locations, condition, and maintenance. Lost, damaged, or neglected equipment was difficult to track across crews.
What we built
RigCheck pairs an office dashboard with a phone app for crews. Connected trackers report where equipment is, while crews check equipment in and out, report issues, and work through maintenance tasks. The office can follow equipment records and a maintenance queue. AI-assisted task creation and a points system were included to support participation.
What happened next
Early versions didn’t stick. In September 2026, a round of field feedback reshaped RigCheck around how crews actually work. Crews can now join with a scannable invitation code and own the equipment assigned to them. They can photograph a handwritten checklist to create tasks, and complete job-site assessments from a phone, with PDF export and signatures.
Ongoing work
We continue to refine RigCheck with feedback from the crews using it.
